Agriculture

We currently farm over 800 hectares of arable land, split between our two farms around the villages of Beelsby and Claxby in the Lincolnshire Wolds. Alongside our own farming operations we are also agricultural contractors covering another 1,000 hectares, from single operations leading up to full stubble to stubble contracts.

Our in-house cropping includes Winter Wheat, Winter and Spring Barley, Winter Oilseed Rape, Winter and Spring Beans, and Sugar Beet.

We are currently in the entry level stewardship and higher level stewardship environmental schemes, ensuring we are doing our bit to help the environment and wildlife.

We operate a fleet of mainly John Deere machinery including;

• x2 rubber tracked crawlers for the main arable operations
• x7 wheeled tractors
• x2 John Deere Hillmaster 4wd combines with 25ft headers
• x3 JCB teleporters.
• All our farm machinery is maintained by our in-house mechanics.

We operate a 38t Opico batch drier and fully TASCC assured storage facilities, so we can offer the full service to dry and store third party cereals, i.e. one phone call to our office will instigate our tipper lorries to collect grain, come over our weighbridge facility and into our wet grain area, dry and condition the grain and store for as long as required, then deliver to any destination.
